Markus Sebastiano is a contemporary mixed media artist and founder of Blochaus Studio/Gallery in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

His work is defined by bold composition, layered texture, and a refined use of color, with pieces placed in luxury residences, hotels, restaurants, and commercial environments across Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Austin, and international markets. Working at the intersection of fine art and interior space, he develops original collections of work and collaborates with collectors, interior designers, and select brands on large-scale, site-specific commissions.

Blending digital and physical techniques—including spray paint, acrylic, and resin—his process creates depth, movement, and atmosphere within each piece. The result is a body of work designed to function as a focal point within a space.

His work has been commissioned by leading global brands including Lululemon, Coca-Cola, Absolut Vodka, SAP, and Munters, and placed within hospitality environments such as W Hotels, MUSE Hotel New York, and AC Hotel, as well as select international projects. His work is also held in private collections, including those of celebrity clients.

He has been featured at exhibitions including Art Week Miami, the LA Art Show, and SUPERFAIR (Austin), and across media platforms including HGTV, BRAVO, CBS, and TEDx. His work has also been featured in publications such as Forbes, Architectural Digest, Modern Luxury, Boston Common, The Boston Globe, and The Miami Herald.

In addition to his studio practice, Markus leads Blochaus Studio/Gallery as a platform for curated exhibitions, artist placements, and consulting, supported by a network of established contemporary artists.
