Markus Sebastiano Unveils Custom Mural at Dynatrace’s New Boston Headquarters

Markus Sebastiano recently completed a dynamic mural installation for Dynatrace at their new headquarters inside Atlantic Wharf, located at 280 Congress Street in downtown Boston.

Created as a visual tribute to the city, the large-scale piece blends iconic Boston landmarks with the spirit of innovation, education, and technology that defines both the city and the company. The mural features layered imagery including the Citgo sign, the Massachusetts State House, Zakim Bridge, Fenway Park, MIT, and more—all brought together through Markus’s signature mixed media collage style.

Markus worked closely with the Dynatrace team to bring their vision to life. From the beginning, this was a collaborative process: the team had a clear idea of what they wanted the piece to represent—a bold homage to Boston’s legacy and future—and entrusted Markus to interpret that vision through his artistic lens. Together, they made sure the final piece not only celebrated the city but also reflected Dynatrace’s brand identity, core values, and presence as a global leader in tech innovation.

At the heart of the mural, the word BOSTON anchors the composition in striking, oversized lettering filled with digital textures and vibrant overlays. The juxtaposition of colorful typography with black-and-white historic imagery captures the city's unique balance of tradition and forward momentum.

The final result transforms the space into a statement-making environment that honors Boston while energizing Dynatrace’s workplace with purpose and creativity.
